Your needs and jobs requirements arn't going to be the same as the next guy and we understand. That's why we offer a custom built to order option. Think about what job's you'll be using the thumb for and then select the options that best fit you. Here are a few of the options some of our previous customers requested.
Excavator Thumb Options
- Low profile Teeth - These work well for hardscape rock work. The less aggressive teeth allow the rocks and boulders to be moved without damage.
- Grease Fittings - Some guys want to make maintaining there new thumb easy an elect to have grease fittings added.
- Pin on Style - We get plenty of requests for pin on style excavator thumbs, we do offer these thumbs however we will need the pin diameter as well as the width of the outside of your dog ears on your bucket to provide this option.
- Increase Width - Our standard thumbs are a universal 7" width to make it easy to use with any width bucket however we do also manufacture a 10", 14" and 24" wide excavator thumb. Often times wider thumbs are sought after for different material like large trees.
3. We Start the Build
We start the process by getting your specs over to our design team. From there the designs get sent to our steel forming and cutting department. Once all the material is ready it's off to or Fabrication and Welding department to be assembled. Finally your new thumb is off to paint to get a fresh coat and some final details.
This process makes it more cost effective and enable us to deliver fast turn around to you our valued customer.
4. 2 Week Lead Time
Keep in mind custom orders do take a little longer to ship out. Once you place the order we get started building them right away with your specifications. We have many of the parts needed to get started on it the same day right here in our facility.
